Wind Energy Museum

Wind Energy Museum di Albanella (Sa)

Eolo s.r.l. has put into operation a wind farm for the production of electricity of 8,5 MW from renewable sources.

In collaboration with the Campania Region, the Municipality of Albanella and with the association Il Disegno, Eolo s.r.l. offers schools that organize trips to Paestum a guided tour of the wind farm and the adjacent wind power museum.

The Museum illustrates the technology and the operating principles of wind turbines that are the core production of a wind farm, starting from Greek mythology and the importance in time in the wind resource for human life.

The visit to the Museum can be effectively combined with the archaeological area of Paestum, providing a comprehensive view of the entire territory.
